Home

The Home page is the Vincore operational dashboard. It combines job setup, workforce activity, scheduling, job-cost information, cash flow, project locations, and recent user activity in one view.

Select Home from the main navigation. The page opens at the Vincore Dashboard.

The information shown depends on your permissions. For example, finance-by-job and cash-flow information requires Budget view access, while workforce widgets require Dashboard access.

Dashboard Summary​

The summary cards show current master-data totals:

  • Total Jobs
  • Total Phases
  • Total Cost Codes
  • Active Employees

Each card includes a recent monthly trend and a comparison with the previous month. These totals come from the current Vincore records rather than a separate reporting snapshot.

Finance by Job​

The Finance by Job section provides a high-level job-costing comparison. Use the chart or table view to review values such as:

  • Initial Budget
  • Change Order Budget
  • Allocated Budget
  • Actual Cost
  • Committed Cost balance
  • Remaining Budget

Allocated Budget is the Initial Budget plus Change Order Budget. Remaining Budget follows the same job-costing basis used by the Budget module.

Use this section to identify jobs that need further review, then open Budget for phase- and cost-code-level detail.

Cash Flow​

The Cash Flow section summarizes financial outflow over time. It supports chart and table views so users can compare monthly movement and inspect the underlying period values.

Cash-flow results are based on the current finance and budget data available to the signed-in user.

Upcoming Work​

Upcoming Work lists published and approved shifts in the next seven days. Each item can show:

  • Job code and name
  • Assigned employee or Open Shift
  • Shift date
  • Start and end time
  • Assigned or Open status

The widget refreshes automatically and displays its latest update time.

Attendance Overview​

Attendance Overview summarizes today's workforce activity, including:

  • Employees with time recorded today
  • Hours recorded today
  • Employees currently clocked in

Use Time Clock, Timesheet, or Time Editor when you need to review the underlying entries.

Job Location Map​

The Job Location (Google Map) section plots jobs that have usable location information. It provides a quick geographical view of active project records.

If a job does not appear, confirm that its address or map coordinates are configured in the Job master.

Recent Activities​

Recent Activities shows the latest audit activity available to the current user. Each row contains an activity description and timestamp. Created, updated, and other actions use different visual indicators for easier scanning.

Refresh the Dashboard​

Select Refresh in the page header to reload:

  • Summary cards
  • Finance and cash-flow information
  • Upcoming work
  • Attendance overview
  • Job locations
  • Recent activities

The Refresh button is temporarily disabled while data is being loaded.

Troubleshooting​

  • A dashboard section is missing: confirm that your role has the required module permission.
  • A total looks incomplete: verify the source Job, Phase, Cost Code, or Employee record and select Refresh.
  • A job is missing from the map: add valid location information to the Job record.
  • Upcoming work is empty: confirm that shifts are approved or published and fall within the next seven days.
